Starlight Single Barrel Rye Whiskey Finished in Honey Barrels

Conti's Wine & Spirits store pick Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Honey with apple, apricot and raisin. Palate: Cinnamon and clove with honey and fruit. Finish: Long length with medium heat. Splash: A few drops of water calms the spicier notes letting morw fruit notes come through. Overall: 9/10 - This has been a great year for rye. I had tried the honey barrel finished bourbon but the rye seems liie it was made for the honey finish. Nicely done!
