Tried 2 awesome single casks. A 2019 French oak red wine cask for Astor wines at 55.4% abv and a 2020 American Oak Red Wine Cask for Drammers Club at 55.5% abv. Both mostly tasted similar even though the Astor Wines Cask pick was a bit spicer and more armagnac like while the Drammers Club cask pick was sweeter and more dessert wine like. Tastes more aged than it is. Pretty complex flavors going on, with the wine barrel aging. Sort of a blend of a bourbon and a port.

Big spices. A little harsh and dry.
