NEAT NOSE - Sweet Corn, Caramel, Cinnamon PALATE - Slightly viscous mouthfeel with soft notes of vanilla, honey, cinnamon, and caramel. FINISH - Long, with very minimal rye spice. OVERALL - Still Austin is doing amazing things with this seasonal bottled in bond series. The nose on this is excellent and the palate is smooth and enticing. I do prefer the Red Corn release to this one, but I believe this one is still worth a buy without question.

Wow. Fantastic nose, and for a BIB, it’s got quite a bit of flavor with a nice mouth feel and viscosity. Sweet oak, creamy cherry and vanilla. Semi-sweet chocolate. Light baking spices. Nice finish, but not as much rye spice as I would expect for a high rye bourbon. This just might be my favorite Still Austin product, and I’m judging off a fresh crack!
A High Rye Bourbon Whiskey that has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of white corn, & oranges; that led to a warm death of medium length with notes of oak, caramel, almonds & rye.
Good bottle. Price was a little high at 70.
Nice flavor, lighter than expected
