Very citrusy, but still plenty of familiar gin character. Subtle, very light sweetness mid-palate (corn in the mash? or maybe just a product of wheat and botanicals. My palette's not smart enough to know but either way I like it). Good enough to stand alone in a dry martini (with a lemon peel, this would clash with an olive), affordable enough to mix into other nice cocktails. I also just really like the whole bottle, and the way it fits with the rest of the distillery's line-up branding-wise. Definitely a fan.

It has a juniper smell which I like. The taste is sweet but not overpowering, an excellent gin for a Virginia gin. I had it with tonic and no garnish. It seems like it would be good with a cherries and blueberry muddle. Cant wait to experiment with garnishes. The bottle is beautiful, the photo here doesn't do it justice. I'd buy it again, an excellent gin overall.
