Three Chord Cask Strength Rye (2024 Release)

Nose: Wonderfully sweet and complex. Cream Soda, cinnamon bark, and clove are front and center. Deeper in is oak, figs, vanilla, and rye spice with hints of sweet dill, toasted marshmallow, and white grape. Palate: Burnt marshmallow, black pepper, jalapeño, and oak come first. Followed by cinnamon, clove, and vanilla with a hint of dill and fresh mint. Finish: Long and a little drying with sweet cinnamon, clove, and jalapeño. Summary: While the finishing barrels dominate the nose, the rye swings back on the palate creating a memorable pour that's oddly cohesive. With only about 2100 bottles made, this is a steal at $60.
