TX, in this case, is short for Texel, the island in the Netherlands where this gin is made. Texel Distillery (Stokerij Texel) was built with help from a crowdfunding campaign.The spirit is distilled from potatoes and reduced in strength with the help of dune water, rainwater filtered through sand. Besides juniper the gin also included coriander, orange peels and cardamom, sea buckthorn and elderberry botanicals.
