A full and rich pour. For me however, I didn’t find anything flavor wise to distinguish this bourbon as unique.
About this bottle
The inaugural release in the brand's Explorer Series features a blend of two 6 year-old bourbon whiskeys: a low-rye bourbon from Kentucky, and a high-rye bourbon from Indiana. Together, the mash bill recipe in the bottling was 66% corn, 30% rye and 4% malted barley. After reducing the blend to 103 proof, it was then finished with oak staves from France's Tronçais Forest and American white oak staves from the Appalachian Mountains. Availability begins April 2, 2024 at select Tennessee retailers with more markets to follow. (SRP $69.99)
