Whistlepig Piggyback (Revolution VSOJ Barrel no. 3)

Decent offering, but I don't feel that VSOJ barrel added a lot to this. Maybe smoothed out flavor a bit and added a bit of sweetness at the end, but taste didn't differ substantially from non VSOJ version. If you're a Whistlepig fan, definitely find this, otherwise I don't think you're missing much. That being said, still a decent rye.

Hints of liquorice and cinnamon on the nose. Subtle attack with a long finish. Significant levels of spice, with hints of honey and wood shavings.
