I really like this gin. I first had it in a tiny pub out the back of Warwick University. I recently asked my gin disliking sister to try it and she enjoyed it.
Overly sweet, tasting more like candy or liqueur than gin. Spicy, likely due to the ginger. However, the sweetness and spice made for interesting gin and tonic.
Definitely the sweetest gin I've tried, a little too sweet to enjoy on its own but absolutely amazing if you add some citrus juice to balance it out.
Refreshing and leaves a pleasant feeling in your mouth. Flavourwise it's okay but personally not the biggest fan. Also tastes a bit artificial.
Perhaps, too sweet? Syrupy almost medicine-like? Tried neat, on ice, mixed... Didn’t work!
