XM Supreme

A rich, demerara Dark Rum blended & bottled by Banks DIH in Guyana, aged for 15 years in oak. It has an aromatic birth with notes of stone fruits, nuts, demerara & tea; while a rich & full life adds notes of molasses, praline, apricot & nutmeg; that led to a rich death of medium length with notes of steely minerality, smoke, roasted nuts & chocolate. nose is full of dark fruit (cherry, plum), banana, vanilla, light key lime. Body is very light, a bit thin, very gently sweet, slight oakiness, surprisingly few notes shared with the nose. Finish is long, grassy, slightly funky (good), more vanilla, surprisingly light for a 15 year.
