This one was an Afficionados selection. Because they thought it could use a little resting before bottling, they took the distilled product and buried it underground for 25 months. Hence, "enterrado". This one is a bit on the herbal side, with mint and anise on the nose. It has a juicy mouthfeel, with more anise and some dark fruit, thinking plum. Smoke and pepper arrive in the finish. This one's the smokiest of the 5S I've had, but it's still far more subdued than what's typical from a cheap mezcal.
