This expression consists of a blend of sourced 2, 3, and 4 year old rye with a 95% rye and 5% malted barley mash bill. Initial maturation takes place in new, American oak with a heavy char. It is then finished in Ammunition Sonoma Pinot Noir casks for an additional 3 months. It is bottled at 90 proof.

Great rye whiskey for the price. Would highly recommend anyone who is curious about rye. Sweet raisin on the front palate and finishes with balanced baking spices on the back palate. As someone who also loves wine, the pinot adds a rich fruitiness that makes this bottle unique and interesting.
95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley finished in French Oak casks that had been previously filled with Pinot Noir. 90 proof. Spicy Rye with notes of citrus, vanilla, raspberry and a bit of baking spice. Delicious and smooth pour. Don't sleep on this one! Great Value! 93pts.
