On the nose, caramel, molasses, vanilla, honey, and browned sugar are up front and center with a slight grapefruit and orange peel note in the background. On the mouth swish, the caramel and vanilla strike hard on the tongue but dissipate quickly. Very few other flavors become apparent making this a very simple rum.
