I am not a Single Malt drinker and usually do not like peated whiskies. That said, I was very impressed with this offering from ASW. These guys know how to craft great whiskey, and for this being a single malt, I enjoyed this pour a lot.

I really enjoy the cherry cola and caramelized bacon notes, kind of has a BBQ vibe going on with the smoke. It’s definitely got stronger notes on the palate than most Islay single malts, I guess the name kind of implies it.
Not too peaty, nice BBQ and smoky bites. Obviously not Islay quality/ definitely an entry-level peat experience. Still... a very nice little dram. (The cask strength is even better)
Really enjoyed. Will buy more for myself, but it's too smokey to be universally enjoyed.
Not bad if you are a fan of peated whiskies. A bit different from your Islay scotches.
Really nice burn and smokiness from the peat. Good malt base as well.
