Bainbridge Battle Point Two Islands Islay Cask Finished Organic Wheat Whiskey

Nose: a light peat. A sweat medicinal cherry. Deep hidden beneath the peat is some chocolate. Later a faint grape snuck out. Body: medium Palate: very sweet on the tongue. Peat dominates after that. Mainly peat, definitely sweat too but peat dominates. Finish: very long due to the peat, its a peaty smokey long finish. Its nice. Note: wanyed to buy this from its WWA results and i like smoke so. Here we go. Early on the peat dominates and it essentially dominated through out. This is sweet and peaty but hard to see how this won an award. Either way fun and ok but not great.
