A balanced, 'Blended Malt from Speyside, Scotland. It says "Blended Malt" on this bottle, and technically that's exactly what it is, except 99.99% is from a single famous Speyside distillery! Welcome to the world of 'spooned' or 'teaspooned' malts, with That Boutique-y Whisky Company's second whisky of this type (their Blended Malt #1 is also spooned). It may not carry the name of a single distillery & may not say single malt anywhere on the label. Batch 1 is a release of 270 bottles.' It has a round & inviting birth with notes of Malted Milk biscuits, marmalade, oak, a hint of clove & grape; while a rich life adds notes of golden sultanas, golden syrup, sandalwood & hints of cigar box; that led to a delicate death with notes of Malted Milks & candied orange.
