Family get together and a relative brought this up from TN for all of us the try. It is hot, and more complex than other TN whiskeys we had all tried. Carmel, cinnamon, heat, wide flavor band. Complex, of 5 different bottles- this was the most interesting. We all liked bourbon more - but we are all bourbon drinkers - certainly worth trying - not the same old whiskey.

Spicy, notes of butterscotch, and vanilla. Normally, I'm a wheated bourbon fan, but this offering is quite good and provides something different for an evening of sipping. As always, try it neat first, then move to ice or water. I like this best over a large ice ball and giving it a few minutes to open up.

Pretty sure Brushy Mountain is still using the same prison recipe for creating this hooch. Thought the idea was cool but first mistake; always try before you pick up a bottle at the BNA airport. Don’t get Dickled; sip it before you unzip…your wallet to pay for…the whiskey.

If this whiskey saw a second barrelling, it didn't help it to age or mellow at all. Harsh on the tongue and throat with little to no flavor profile.

I didn't think it was as bad as the rating suggested, pretty nice.
