Not mad at this. Sitting on my floatie next to @Looneyhead. Super floral on the nares and palate. It taste like walking into play like red excellence resort. I get notes of daisy’s, Lilly’s, lavender.. it’s spring in my mouth again. Delicious.
About this bottle
Bruxo is a mezcal project founded in 2010 by a group of friends who are true agave lovers. Each expression is created in a different part of Oaxaca by its own mezcalero or maestro. This one, made from 12 -15 year old barril maguey that is harvested in such remote locations that it has to be transported to the distillery by donkey, is the work of Tio Conejo (that's right, Uncle Rabbit.)

Exceptional. This mezcal has less of the burnt rubber presence seen in most mezcals and more a true smoky character that is reminiscent of a peated scotch.
Súper vegetal nose, potent agave, with new tires, smoke, mushrooms, spices, wood and mint. On the palate peppery, with agave, smoke, wood and caramel.
Intense smoke upfront, tapers off pretty quick, nutmeg/muted taste - really great for the smoke and full body
Suggested: Me: huge smoke on nose, like eating a smoker. Huge smoke on the palette, “like drinking a cigar”
Amazing mouth feel. Almost creamy. Super approachable smoke. Funky finish.
