Duim began in 1975 on the farm of Mr. Pedro Duim, a cachaça producer, where his son-in-law Mr. Toninho Decolô became a master distiller and the profession was passed on to his son Wesley Duim, who set up his own distillery in 2001. In 2015, Wesley Duim took over the role of master distiller and began modernizing the facilities and equipment. Since 2022, after winning its first national quality award with the launch of the premium and special reserve lines, the brand has already accumulated more than 14 medals in the main quality competitions in Brazil and around the world.
