Clase Azul Ultra is distilled from nine year old blue weber agave that has been coked for 72 hours. The tequila is fermented with Clase Azul's very own yeast strain before being pot distilled. Finally the tequila is aged for five years in ex-sherry casks from Spain. Clase Azul Ultra is produced in small numbered batches of 100. The tequila is bottled in hand painted decanters decorated with platinum and 24-karat gold.

Way too sweet for a tequila, this tequila is worth so much but the liquid is pure caramel syrup, I think it was aged too much in the wrong barrels, all the vanilla and caramel notes are covering the flavour of the agave. In my opinion a bit over priced
Exquisite buttery flavor with white pepper and delicious green melon. Knocks it out of the park. The mouthful is rich, exquisite, and sweet. If there is a flaw it may be in the sweetness throughout. Worth the price of admission
Just had some of this tequila earlier in the week while on a business trip. It is one of the smoothest I have ever tried. Sweet and mellow with just the right burn. I am going to try and get a bottle of this for my collection
