About this bottle

This is the second limited edition release from Código 1530 and Playboy. Like the first release, this is a double barrel aged tequila with the first maturation (18 months) occurring in French white oak cabernet sauvignon wine barrels. Here the secondary maturation uses French cognac casks for 6 months. To commemorate the first issue of Playboy which was released in 1953, there are 1,953 bottles produced, each one individually numbered. The tequila is packaged in a black crystal bottle and comes in an antique wooden box made in Mexico. Two Riedel tequila tasting glasses accompany the bottle.
