This rum reminds me sour mash up to 5 year aged bourbons. The taste is flowery and all other tones are rather blend. The smell, I agree with others, is rather alcohol.

About this bottle
Coruba is a sibling brand to Appleton under the Jamaican Wray & Nephew banner. Although bottled as an inexpensive mixing rum in the U.S., the European Coruba is blended and bottled by a Swiss company producing upmarket, age-stated expressions. The entry point for these bottlings is the 12-year Cigar, so named because it’s the ideal accompaniment for a fine cigar. It’s distilled in Jamaica, aged in old oak casks, and bottled at 80 proof.
