DeKuyper Crème De Menthe Green

Uncharitably, this smells indistinguishable from Listerine. Fortunately, it tastes like a very fresh peppermint candy with a little extra zing and a long, effervescent continuing flavor. I don’t really see how anyone could dislike it if they wanted a mint flavor in their drink. However, it is not quite interesting enough to sip by itself. Has a beautiful festive color.

While this should never be consumed straight, if one did, they would find that it tastes of very strong fresh mint which shifts to an unpleasant medicinal flavor if held in the mouth for too long. However, if used correctly (for grasshoppers or grasshopper pies) it is excellent.

A workhorse bottle for making grasshoppers, and little else.

Alcoholic mint. Nice sweetness. Excellent mixer.
