An intense, special edition bottling of Del Maguey single village Mezcal, is distilled in San Luis Del Rio NOM-O41X in Oaxaca, aged in 20-year-old Stitzel-Weller Wheated Bourbon Barrels for 124 days. 1530 bottles were produced. It has an aromatic birth with notes of roasted agave, red & green pepper, a hint of smoky bacon & citrus blossom; while an oak-y life adds notes of white pepper & creamy caramel & smoke; that led to a long & complex death with notes of smoked meats, sharp apple & a hint of floral vanilla.
