Woody floral nose. Sweet wood and ethanol on the tongue, with some juniper and mint. Thin finish, alcohol lingering. Interesting barrel rested gin, best for mixing. I'm a big fan of barrelled gins, but this one doesn't improve on their very good regular gin.
Dry Fly Barrel Aged Gin
About this bottle
By the time this barrel-aged gin is bottled, Dry Fly Distilling's vodka and gin have already been released. Their vodka is distilled from 100% soft white winter wheat, which becomes gin with the addition of botanicals ---Washington Fuji apples, coriander, lavender, mint, hops, and juniper berries from Oregon. They take production a step even further by aging the gin for about a year in used wheat whiskey barrels. This is bottled at 40% ABV.

Dry Fky already makes a very unique Gin, and when you age this with the whiskey barrels it screams amazing! Grab a bottle if you can find one.
Smooth and easily mixes. A gentle but tasty arrangement.
Mostly taste the alcohol. Wish it blended better.
