About this bottle
El Afan Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila produced in the Jalisco region. The agave plants are harvested at 8 to 10 years old before they are cooked, milled and fermented. The fermented product is double distilled before it is aged for over a year in white oak barrels that previously held bourbon. El Afan is currently only available in Texas and New Mexico.
