About this bottle

Released in October 2017, this bottling marks the 80th anniversary of La Alteña Distillery where El Tesoro is made. Aged for eight years in American oak, ex-bourbon barrels, only eight barrels were produced. This bottling will be exclusive to the US. Bottled at 41.5% ABV.

After attaboy headed to copper and oak with friend and exchanged drams of this and Appleton Joy 25 midway through. Another Carlos Camarena gem with notes of Cooked Agave, Mint, Anise, Caramel, Cinnamon, Mexican Chocolate, Dried Fruit, Cherry, Citrus, and a wonderful peppery, creamy, and vegetal flavor profile
