About this bottle

Espíritu Lauro mezcal uses only the available elements of the earth to create its spirits and the agave is left to ferment naturally without the use of yeasts. The unaged Joven is a blend of Espadín and Karwinskii of San Martín varietals, aged 6 - 8 years before harvesting.

Looneyhead 4.0

On the nose this is green peppers, earth, grass, a whiff of smoke, and agave. On the palate the smoke is light, with black pepper, green pepper, earth and savory roasted agave. Lingering peppery finish. This is relatively mild, but rather tasty.

Madmex 5.0

One of my favorite mezcals. Extremely sophisticated, something very elegant and different. I love Karwinskii agave.

tubass 4.0

Strong first in the palate but can be dialed in exquisitely with a little chill or orange peel

Hector Eduardo Meza 5.0

Great mezcal for beginners. Very herbal, almost like a gin.
