The best 151 proof Rum that I’ve tried. Smells amazing. Nose of spices like cinnamon, with caramel and butterscotch. Not harsh at all. Bought on sale for $19.99. Haven’t tried by itself yet, but was great in a Strong Island. Wasn’t harsh and shined with all the flavors. Will try with Dark and Stormy and Pina Coladas soon after I try it neat.
Rich and spicy with a lot of complexity, like the flagship black seal. Deep molasses/ brown sugar. Hides the alcohol well. I accidentally added too much to my Dark and Stormy. Be careful with it!
Best mixer for balance of taste when making a double.
Tasted like black tar. Gets you hammered though
