Gray Wolf Sassafras Rested Gin

Wow !!! Gray Wolf Spirits hit the mark. I am a devotee of craft and micro distilling, and I have rarely come across such a wonderfully example of the high art of distilling. Located in St. Michaels, Md this husband and wife team of former bartenders have truly distinguished themselves. The sassafras rested gin, based on a malted barley mash, is exquisite. A must try if you come across anything from Gray Wolf.

There is not much on the nose, but the sassafras hits hard and strong on the first sip. Big sassafras and juniper flavor. Excellent gin. I’ll look forward to experimenting with this is martinis.
