About this bottle

This limited edition release is part of Hatozaki's Omakase collection, celebrating the concept of "chef's choice" in Japanese dining. It is the oldest age statement release to date from the brand, blended and bottled at Kaikyō distillery. It is a blend of specially selected Japanese malt whisky that is matured at least 12 years in new, charred oak barrels then finished for an additional 3 years in rare Mizunara casks sourced from Japan's Hokkaido forests. It is bottled at 46% ABV, limited to 3,000 bottles released exclusively in the U.S. as of October, 2025. (SRP $149.99)
