Havana Club Cuban Smoky

Mix of sugarcane rum and Islay peat on the nose. The Islay cask has less of an impact on the palate than it does the bouquet, but there is a slight smoky presence to the finish. Sweet rum base. Pretty decent overall - met my expectations without exceeding them.

I had it neat in Cuba. Really hot on the nose. My first thought was “this tastes like scotch”. It has a hot but smooth finish. Lots of smoke, and oak spice. If i can find a bottle at a good price before I leave, I will buy it.

Очень интересный ром. Сладковатый аромат тростниковых спиртов с привкусом торфа и копчёного дуба. Особенно хорош когда подышит и нагреется. Пить из коньячного бокала ничем не разбавляя самый кайф.

Tastes like a dark rum with smoke. Barreling in whisky casks is a good idea but the attributes are slight and brief. Not worth the few bucks extra, just go with the 7

Must try rum sweet like havana club 7 but with a scotch taste nice finish

Rich, sweet with a hint of smoky notes.
