Insolente Reposado

Rating: 14/23 N: Less savory than the plata, but still some cheese. Lighter with some more spice and dustiness from the barrel. Faint vanilla and caramel. Definite minerality. P: Sweet caramel, some pepper, faint cheese, mineral vanilla. Actually quite a bit of cheese. Some bit of bitter herbal flavor and quite a bit of vegetal character (not rotting though). F: Mineral, sweet, licorice, vanilla, with a faint prickliness and a little undercooked caramel. Cheese on the long finish. A bit of bitter herbs and the vegetal character lasts too. - Conclusion - More complex and balanced than the plata but less character and lighter. Still a lot of character though. Plenty of complexity. I kind of like it, but it's weird. I'm looking at a 13 to 15. It's too weird to really go higher. I'll give it that 15, but barely. I really like the complexity. It might be a 14. I'm sticking with the 15 though. Actually, a 14.
