Johnnie Walker's Explorer's Club Collection edition is a series of specialty whiskeys that celebrate historic trade routes. There are several editions within this collection, each with its own unique character and flavor. - *The Spice Road*: inspired by Asian trade routes, this edition features notes of spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as tropical fruits and a touch of smoke. - *The Gold Route*: this edition is a tribute to the Latin American trade routes, with flavors of dark fruits, honey and spices. - *The Adventurer*: this edition is described as a strong and vibrant whiskey, perfect for those looking for an adventure. This collection is a great option for whiskey lovers looking for unique and inspiring flavors. Source: masterofmalt website

Beautiful on the nose. Smoky notes and maybe caramel and almonds. Vanilla is presente but not with strenght. On the palate is mostly spicy but with a fruity flavor behind the spicyness. Sweet, smoky and spicy. There is almost no finish, short lenght. 83 over 100

Cinnamon, clove, and very smooth. It's a wonderful blend but it reminds me of spiced rum and therefore stops me from calling it good scotch. Also I don't think it's worth the price, but would absolutely stock up if it were $30/bottle

It's a flavorful whiskey that has a light but stinging after taste. It's not smooth but the aroma is pleasing and something to linger over. As strange as it sounds a slice of lemon does a lot to increase the appeal of this whiskey.

Neat in a Sutherland tasting glass at Thanksgiving at Uncle Michael Hoo-ha's in Freehold, NJ. Nose is odd, with some soap and spice notes. Taste is more spicy, with some smoke peaking through. Nah. 12/28/19.

Incredible value (about $45) for a balanced, thoroughly drinkable blend. Honey and spice mingle for a unique JW offering that's great on rocks or neat with a few drops of water. Impressive packaging.
