About this bottle
Jose Cuervo's 250th Aniversario Extra Añejo was launched in 2008 in honor of the brand's 250 years making tequila that started in 1758 when Don Jose Antonio de Cuervo bought land for the planting of agave. In recognition of this, only estate grown agave was used in the production of limited edition anniversary blend. The best extra añejos that aged in new American oak barrels for at least 3 years were blended and finished in Spanish sherry casks for 10 months. It was bottled at 40% ABV.
