About this bottle

Distilled on Orkney, one of the Northernmost Scottish islands, Kirkjuvagr is made with locally-grown botanicals, including angelica, borage and ramanas Rose. The connection with Orkney comes from the name, which means 'Church Bay' in Old Norse. The use of angelica was inspired by a story suggesting that Norsemen once brought the botanical to the islands. It can still be found growing there.
