Surprisingly smooth for a Kyrö whiskey. Berries and lingering & deep sweetness, I guess the oloroso at play here. The aftertaste is satisfying with just a hint of warmth and something fresh like mint.
Quite a bite to this. Spice and pepper dominate. A lot of outdoor smokiness. Sherry sweetness present. Very earthy taste. Notes of eucalyptus too.
The smoothness surprised me. Nice peppery spice from the rye. Rich flavours of sweetness from the oloroso. Very pleasant sipping whisky.
