Distiller - Celso Luis Santiago Agave Age - 20 to 25 years NOM - O209X Batch No. MIA-T2003US 200 mL bottle ($31.49) Open 7 months Nose - Strong vegetal, light pineapple, lemon oil, apricot, honeysuckle, grain, and medium ethanol. Palate - Sharp and grainy vegetal, unripe pineapple, lemon peel, and eucalyptus. Finish is medium-long and oily with sharp agave and vegetal notes, Stevia, fake vanilla, black pepper, and medium ethanol. I'm glad a 200 mL bottle was available because this is not a great tepeztate. If we're comparing prices for 750 mL bottles, you could do much better for the same or lower price. I know tepeztate is amongst the oldest and most expensive agaves to harvest, but that means I expect more than this.
