AnttiRG 2.5

A rich, flavored Rum from Puerto Rico distilled with indigenous sugar cane molasses fermented with natural yeast from the distillery. It has an aromatic birth with notes of sugar cane, fruit, nuts & spices; while a full & rich life adds notes of dark sugar, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, caramel & vanilla; that leads to a candied & creamy death of medium length with a hint of honey. Aromas are vanilla and cream soda. A little isopropyl too but not as bad as some. Touch of butterscotch candy. Decent palate too. The butterscotch hits first. Middling with some rock candy. Then the finish comes up fast and is a bit rough. Aftertaste is back to rubbing alcohol. Better than the silver. But still eh

This rum is maybe passable for mixing. It is so floral that it tastes like perfume and the watery flavor doesn't help it either. There is the slightest hint of caramel, but the perfume overwhelms it. Unless you need the cheapest rum possible, upgrade to Sailor Jerry or at least George Ocean.

Thought this was a very good spiced rum. Mostly used in mixers or with coke.

Had it with ginger beer. Worked well enough.
