Unbelievable. Comparing to the excellent but simple Del Maguey Barril expression. This is more complex flavor wise and much more viscous. More metal and earth notes here and the agave finish, also present in the Del Maguey, is sweeter and more fruity here. The best Maguey Melate expression I’ve tried (of the 20 others) besides Reina Sanchez’s Tepextate which ties with this. That’s more at the fruity end. This is more masculine.
