Delicious and distinctive compared to the dozen mezcals I’ve tried but this spirit type is so new to my palate that I struggle to say how. Smoke, copper coin, and a tart citrus note dominate the mid palate, with some subtle sweetness in the finish. Copper coin lingers throughout. Astringent but not in an unpleasant way
3rd tasting apples, more viscous this time than dry, metal in the finish but now a huge waft of smoke that lingers and covers the palette until cleansed. More interesting than tasty. I don’t think I’d get a bottle bc not my thing but well made mezcal nonetheless
Second tasting faint apple and prominent metallic note make this more interesting than tasty.
