About this bottle

Made from tobalá agave hearts or piñas grown on the estate, this mezcal is double-distilled and then matured in French oak barrels for a minimum of three years in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. If you are looking for an unusual, yet elegant pairing for a cigar, this would be an excellent choice.

Scorpion Tobalá Añejo is an exquisite and unique in that it is one of the few aged tobalá mezcals and its 3 years of aging in French oak gives it some semblance of having pastries and hot chocolate in a European pastry shop while also having a presence of cooked agave, herbs, and tropical fruit. Nose: Dill, Anise, Pineapples, Watermelon, Caramel, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Mangoes, Papayas, White Chocolate, Smoke, Kiwi, Cooked Agave, Cedar, Raisins, Mexican Hot Chocolate Palate: Cooked Agave, Kiwi, Nutella, Whoppers, Leather, Mexican Hot Chocolate, Mocha, Cinnamon, Smoke, Churros, Whiskey Caramel Bread Pudding, Flan, Creme Brûlée Finish: Dark Chocolate, Espresso, Burnt Honey, Cooked Agave, Smoke, Cherries, Campfire Smores
