This is almost nothing like a mezcal the smoke is very distant from what you will usually expect. It reminds me of an expensive bourbon or a decent light scotch. It is currently my favorite thing to drink neat.

Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto (NOM O50X) in Oaxaca is the largest distillery in Mexico. Their Zignum Añejo Mezcal is made from 100% espadin agave and matured for at least 16 months in French oak casks.
