About this bottle
Husband and wife Paul and Jacine Rutasikwa founded Matugga Distillers in England before relocating to Scotland in 2018. Molasses made from east African sugarcane is used in the production and the rum is distilled three times in a 200-liter copper pot still. This spiced rum is made with a Masala chai blend of black tea, fresh ginger, Scottish honey and other natural spices.
