Michter's US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon (2024 Release)

So excited to crack this bottle for a taster. Tried neat, of course. On the nose it smells delicious with notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, brown sugar, and I totally get the old fashion root beer candies.l and slight cinnamon and clove. On the palate it’s smooth but with the right amount of spice and notes of clove, cinnamon, red hots, ginger, pears, toasted marshmallows and taste like Christmas in a bottle and a spicy gingerbread house. Lil numbing to the lips and tongue. The legs on my glass are beautiful.

Perfect balance all around! Live Michters this was a special find and buy at $80 i didnt know how good this could be! Bbq and vanilla in the nose, spice, vanilla and toasted marshmallow on the pallet!

Nose: toasted oak, root beer, leather, vanilla, torched caramel, cherry, apple. Palate smooth, heavy toast, spicy wood, leather, vanilla, ash, caramel. Spicy toasty finish. Thanks @twostal !

Sweet and spicy oak, juicy fruit gum, touch of black tea. Toasting provides a much longer finsh than expected for 91 proof.

Perfect balance of sweet and spice with complex flavor profile. My fav of the Michters special releases (and im a M fan).
