About this bottle
Montanya Distillers was founded in 2008 in Colorado, and now has its distillery located in Crested Butte. As of 2014, they obtain sugar cane for distillation from Louisiana, mixing it with mountain spring water. They use a copper pot still for distillation, and tout both their high-altitude and their eco-friendly processes as unique components to their story. Aging is completed in used American oak casks from Stranahan's Whiskey, while utilizing a coconut-husk charcoal filtration to remove coloration.
