Atlantico follows a somewhat unique system for their rum production. The brand, which has partnered with pop singer Enrique Inglesias, incorporates several styles of rum into their final product. Atlantico Platino is a blend of rums distilled from cane juice, as well as those based from molasses. Each is aged separately, before being blended together, and then re-aged for a lengthy marrying period. The rum received a package update in 2017.

A light, blended rum made from both cane juice & molasses in the Dominican Republic. It has a delicate birth with hints of cane sugar, fruits & spices; while a rich life adds notes of citrus, caramel, molasses & vanilla; that led to a complex death of medium length. December 2016
