About this bottle
Novo Fogo is a zero-waste distillery located right at the edge of the Atlantic Rainforest in the state of Paraná in southern Brazil. A few single-barrel expressions of their cachaça are released from time to time, sadly yielding very small quantities (in this case only 204 bottles) thanks to thirsty angels in the hot, tropical climate of the warehouse. Novo Fogo is aged in 53-gallon barrels that once held Four Roses bourbon, sanded and re-toasted. Barrel 152 was aged 3 years.
