About this bottle

The 16th annual series of Bruichladdich's super heavily-peated single malt (80+ ppm) launches in September 2025 with three expressions followed by a distillery only exclusive in November 2025. Unlike the first two bottles in the series, this 16.3 expression was made with barley grown on a single field from a single farm on Islay, just a few miles from the distillery. It was also peated higher than the first two at 189.5 ppm compared to 101.4 ppm. It was aged for 5 years in bourbon, Sauternes, and Pedro Ximenez casks and bottled without chill-filtration at near cask strength of 61.6% ABV. Available beginning September 2, 2025. (SRP $279.99)
