Smells like ripe bananas, but tastes like brandied raisins. Pure heaven
Old New Orleans King Creole 20th Anniversary Blend
About this bottle
Housed in a 150-year-old cotton warehouse in an industrial area of the city north of the famous French Quarter, the Old New Orleans rum distillery was one of the first entries in the new wave of American craft distilling. Old New Orleans is derived without the use of additives or coloring. It is 100% natural and they use high-grade cane syrup in a slow-batch process. The sugarcane is from one farmer, Greg Nolan at LaFouche Sugars in Thibodaux. The King Creole 20th Anniversary Blend is a limited release blend of their rums aged in charred American oak casks collected from bourbon, whiskey, and sherry producers. Seven different vintages are blended, some of which pre-date Katrina, to celebrate 20 years of distilling.
